Kevin is showing off his skills in the cayuco. The native Quechi people paddle these dugouts and can keep them going straight without switching sides. When they find a promising fishing spot, they stand up and toss out their cast nets. Kevin is working on it, but doesn´t quite have that part down.

When we left Rio Lampara, we hiked for 5 hours through the jungle to Livingston. When we told a local from Livingston this, his response was, "you´ll take the boat back, won´t you?"
